Mt Toolebewong – Sambar Deer, Red Fox & European Rabbit control

Extremely high population of Sambar Deer causing significant damage to native vegetation and gardens. Also contributing to overgrazing of paddocks. Seeking to establish a monitoring program and then a control program to reduce numbers by more than 50% each year.

Moderate infestation of Rabbits causing damage to gardens and contributing to overgrazing and spread of weeds. Seeking to identify warrens and implement a control program.

Consistent fox sightings, difficult to estimate numbers.
Would support shooting during deer control operations and would consider PAPP baiting.
