We have a damage mitigation permit for macropod control issued by the State Government. The quota is 900 macropods. If any dogs, pigs, foxes, rabbits, cats, deer, or other feral animals are seen while filling the macropod quota, they should be shot too. The property consists of rolling hills, partly covered with trees and understory plants.
The selected member or members will have to sign a property management plan and to provide copies of their gun licence and a copy of an in-date, SSAA Farmer Assist Assessment Target for the type of firearm they intend to use. They must be in a position to attend the property sufficiently often to fill the quota before it expires.
