Our property suits hunters that like to walk to hunt. Kangaroos and wallabies and pigs are very quiet. Very easy & chilled out style of hunting, especially at sunrise, sunset and spot lighting during night.
We have a dirt road that runs through centre of property. We pick up any hunted animals with our ute as we also operate a breeding sheep & goat grazing business and don’t want to attract any more predators such as crows, eagles, wild dogs.
We have a yearly permit from National Parks & Wildlife- we always have excessive numbers of roos due to large areas of wooded country neighboring us which are unoccupied and unmanaged, which migrate into our grassy woodland country at sunrise, sunset, during night. Our goal is to manage roo numbers to a sustainable number and control wild dogs and pigs.
Also good hunting nearby is Torrington State Conservation Park (1 million acres), but have to pay a very low annual permit fee to parks.
Any queries, give me a call.
Cheers Ray
We have for our hunters a good private and quiet free camp site with high set views to south and west over valley - Heavily Wooded mountain above camp site to north.
