Applying For a Job

All Jobs

After you have registered you can log in straight away. Once logged in you will be redirected to the ‘Jobs’ page that will display all jobs that have been recently posted on the jobs board.

Make sure you create a Resume/Bio ASAP so you can quickly apply for relevant jobs. Having a saved Resume/Bio is mandatory before you can apply for any jobs.

Viewing job listings

Scrolling down the screen, you will see the list of jobs directly below the Google Map, displaying jobs posted around the country. Select the job in your state that you are interested in by clicking directly on the listing. As seen below, once you start applying for jobs, they will be highlighted in Applied Jobs, so you don’t need to click on them again, thinking you may have missed applying for them.

Apply for jobs

Once you click the Apply for Job button, you will be provided with a space to write an introductory message. This allows you to include information specific to the job you are applying for and encourages the landholder to review your saved Resume/Bio.

If you have not previously created a Resume/Bio, you will be prompted to do so before you can complete your application.

To create a Resume/Bio, click My Resume/Bio in the menu bar and then select Add Resume. This will open an online form where you can enter information about yourself, your experience and your interests. Once saved, your Resume/Bio can be reused for future job applications, making the application process quicker and easier.

Submitting your application

Once you have finished filling out the required information to apply to the job, you then need to just click the blue Send Application button to complete the process. Once you do that you will be directed back to the job page and at the top you will see that your application has been submitted successfully. All there is to do now is wait and see if the farmer accepts your application and contacts you. If you are unsuccessful or the job is filled you will receive email notification of the job status.

Please take note: At this present time members can only apply for jobs in their home state due to various management and compliance reasons. The one exception is that ACT members can apply for jobs within NSW due to an agreement between those states.
